A few days ago, the steel making mill successfully produced Q15MnVB-A which is a new grade in advanced product of Xingtai Steel.
Q15MnVB-A developed by customer’s requirement is a steel grade used for cold heading and cold extruding with boron and low carbon which is used for weld nuts in automobile and strict with quality requirement.
For quality requirement of grade composition and inclusion, the technical person of steel making mill completely discussed details of grade with main responsibility person of technical center together, such as raw material condition, deoxidation measures, slag-making system and control of chemical composition and arranged tracking and guidance during the production. The finished product satisfied requirement of chemical composition with smooth casting, which marked the trial production for the grade is successful.
