The determination of metallurgical product quality of 2014 is finished according to the administrative regulations and rules of China Iron and Steel Industry Association metallurgical product quality recognition (for Cold Cup Prize). Through the declaration, preliminary examination, on-site verification, professional review, published on the steel association website, metallurgy quality and the China metallurgical newspaper five decision procedures, the Iron and Steel Association committee for examination approval that φ13～18mm wire rod 55SiCrA and φ5.5～16mm wire rod 55SiCrA-1 for spring of Xingtai Steel awarded the 2014 Gold Cup Prize for Metallurgy products.This marks the product quality has reached the international quality level.
So far, a total of 30 grades of 10 kinds products of Xingtai Steel awarded the Gold Cup Prize, which cover more than 58% of the total wire rod production.
