A few days ago, the stainless steel line of steel-making plant started to produce the first batch of billets by order. Using melting furnace plus AOD furnace, the steel-making plant produced four kinds of high manganese alloy steel, including G7624, G7484, G7724, and G6811.
Since it is the first time for the company to produce four new steel grades altogether and continuously, to master the steel composition, metallurgic principle, operation mode is very important. Therefore, the technicians had a discussion of the operation process and metallurgy process based on the previous production of G5722 steel.
It is learned that the steel-making plant would analyze and discusse the datas cellected during the production to improve the process, reduce the production cost and finally help to increase the stainless steel market share.
